Solar Thermal

Solar thermal technology captures sunlight to heat fluids, transferring that energy to be used in domestic or industrial heating applications. Unlike photovoltaic systems that convert sunlight directly into electricity, solar thermal devices focus on the direct generation of heat. This is typically done through collectors, such as flat-plate collectors or evacuated tubes, which absorb and convert the solar energy to heat, subsequently warming water. This heated fluid can then be used for various purposes, including water heating, space heating, or even to power cooling systems through absorption chilling.
